Made from merino and polyester mix the beanie will protect you from the elements, without overheating. With its lightweight construction and flat seams the Beanie easily fits under your helmet as well as your jersey pocket once the temperatures start rising.
The use of merino wool offers natural moisture wicking properties and temperature control.

Each piece of the Batik Collection is hand dyed individually and may therefore vary slightly from the product images.

Behind the Collection 

For most brands in the cycling industry the last years have been a rollercoaster. Our sport was at new heights during a global pandemic leading to product shortages first and overproduction as a response.

Although ever since the founding of FINGERSCROSSED one of our leading principles has been to use resources responsibly and to produce only as much as we can sell - through all that cycling-hype we have left this path. Returning back to our principles we wanted to give existing goods a new shine instead of producing yet another collection. This is how the highly limited Batik capsule came about.

We used our creme and tofu colourways as a canvas and had them tie dyed by a local couple. Each piece is dyed individually by Peter and Sabrina of , hung up in the southern Bavarian summer sun to dry and then washed gently to fixate the colour. Even the colour matches the new path we followed with this collection. It’s mixed from all the remains from earlier dyeing session leading to a beautiful midnight black colour.
